Nobody can make you do anything you don’t want to do. That being said, once you verbally say, “I want to try this”, if you do everything to prevent yourself from doing it, well, why are you wasting time? Furthermore, why are you wasting time of the people you asked for assistance? Whether it’s an acting coach, a photographer, a mua, stylist, videographer, manager, agent, etc, they are as much involved in your “pursuit” as anybody.
When you have the opportunity to meet people that can aid you in what you are wanting to do, take it. If that means making some sacrifices, what is the problem, if you really want it bad enough?
In September I will be inviting several people that are influential in their respective industries (magazine, photography, styling, make-up, casting, etc). If you are a model or actor, you should want to attend this event. To be seen only helps your cause and to be heard validates you as a proactive talent in the industry.
I also will have a special segment for the guys! There will be a few that will have the chance to get a 5 minute meet and greet with one of the lovely ladies of IMTM! Models and actresses representing different ethnicities and accomplishments will be there! Be the one to say “I met her”. Guys chosen will also get a photo with the model/actress that will be autographed.
The event will be held in beautiful Atlanta at Via Restaurant (www.viarestaurant.net). Sept 12th 2010 is the date. It will start at 8pm and ends at 12am. Dress code strictly enforced. $20 Gentleman $10 Ladies
